Mauryo Jones is Head of Safety for an $9.7 billion FORTUNE 500® supply chain, dedicated transportation, and commercial fleet management solutions company. She is a leader with 20 (+) years of experience in creating and sustaining a proactive safety culture.

Mauryo has supported all of Ryder’s operational divisions businesses and her leadership skills have been tested and proven in diverse & dynamic environments since joining Ryder in 2000. In her current role, she leads a team of safety professionals in North America, responsible for driving key safety processes throughout the organization and partnering with stakeholders to integrate prevention strategies.

Mauryo is an energetic, passionate, and active learner who is always looking for practical solutions to keep all engaged and working together to accomplish desired business objectives. She has a proven ability to build effective teams and staff dedicated to effectively collaborate and partner with business leaders to drive continuous improvement in the areas of employee safety, safety technology, safety system programs, vendor management, and safety training.

Mauryo has a BS degree from Xavier University of Louisiana and a MSPH in Industrial Hygiene/Occupational Safety and Health from Tulane University. She, her husband, and daughter currently reside in Los Angeles, CA where they enjoy traveling and exploring the culture diversity of southern California.
